9/11 First Responder Appreciation Dinner
The Rotary Club of Sierra Madre honor our fallen and extend our heartfelt thanks to the exceptional Sierra Madre fire and police departments. We host a special dinner and pay tribute to the resilience, courage, and sacrifice of those who serve and protect us. This act of remembrance and gratitude reflects our community's enduring spirit and unity in the face of adversity.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
The Sierra Madre Rotary Club is pleased to honor the teachers and staff of Sierra Madre Elementary School and Sierra Madre Middle School. Rotary recognizes the service our schools’ staff provides to the community as they teach and support our children, getting them ready to be the future leaders of our City, the Country and the World.

Veteran's Day Program
Our annual Rotary Veteran's Breakfast and Program at Sierra Madre School, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring our nation's veterans and sharing the meaning of Veteran’s Day with the middle school 8th grade students.. This gathering brings together students and community members for a morning of remembrance and gratitude. It's a meaningful opportunity to connect, reflect, and express our appreciation for the sacrifices made by these heroes.
Downtown Holiday Decorations
Our Rotary Club of Sierra Madre brings holiday cheer by decorating our town light posts with festive garlands, holiday flags and bows. Decorating the downtown has been a tradition since 1924 and Rotary is proud to be part of bringing joy to our residents and visitors during the holiday season.

Goldberg Park Maintenance
Each year Rotarians and members of our sponsored Interact Club, roll up their sleeves and don shovels and rakes to maintain Goldberg Park, one of the City’s two mini-parks. The park is known for its native California plants and its stone settee inscribed with the words of Milton Goldberg “children need space, time and love”.

Rose Float Association Dinner
The Rotary Club of Sierra Madre provides a warm and delicious dinner to the rose float volunteers during the frantic week of decorating before New Year’s Day. It is our way of supporting the Association and thanking the many float volunteers for their beautiful representation of our city in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade.

Annual Holiday Toy Collection
The Rotary Club of Sierra Madre spreads holiday cheer with our annual toy drive! This cherished initiative is all about bringing the community together to give back and support children in need. We unite in the spirit of generosity and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can ensure every child experiences the magic of the holidays.

Middle School Service Awards
Each year the Rotary Club of Sierra Madre recognizes two graduating middle school students for outstanding service to the community with a monetary gift. The recipients are chosen by the school administration based on their community service participation.

Strategic Community Partnerships
The Rotary Club of Sierra Madre works hand-in-hand with other community organizations including Kiwanis, the Cancer Support Community and the Historical Preservation Society, among others, to help meet the diverse needs of the community and its residents.
