Program Details

The Rotary Club of Sierra Madre awards small to medium monetary grants to individuals, businesses and non-profit entities targeted to a variety of purposes benefitting our local and surrounding community.

Mini Grant Program 

The Sierra Madre Rotary Club (“SMRC”) raises money in the community annually to fund the club’s community service programs and projects, including a Mini-Grant program. The Club invites individuals and organizations to complete this form for a financial grant up to $1000 for projects or programs that specifically serve members of the Sierra Madre community in describable way(s).  Grant applications are accepted throughout the fiscal year and will be made quarterly.

Projects, programs, and events that will be considered for a mini grant should benefit Sierra Madre organizations, students and schools, charitable organizations, or the general public.

Awards that are granted must provide a benefit for the greater good of our community.  Some examples of uses for a mini grant include;

📝 Teacher’s funding STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) projects for their classes.

📝 A Scouting Organization member funding the purchase of materials for a project that benefits the community.

📝 Funding the purchase of the materials of a public art project.

📝 Purchase of an essential piece of equipment for a charitable organization (ex. Forklift for foodbank).
