We are pleased to welcome guest speaker Charlene Potter from the Los Angeles County Beekeeper’s Association. The theme of her talk will be Honeybees and Beekeeping in Southern California.
Charlene is a California Master Beekeeper and has been beekeeping since 2015. She currently runs apiaries in Altadena, Alhambra, Sun Valley, and Pasadena. After serving fours years as Los Angeles County Beekeepers Association's vice president, she is now proud to serve as the president. She also volunteers teaching the Beekeeping 101 class at The Valley Hive in Chatsworth. She has been teaching linguistics at PCC for almost 20 years and is the faculty advisor for the PCC Bee Club.
