Kellie Strubinski is an active member of the Sierra Madre Rotary Club, where she is deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community. Recently retired from a rewarding career at NBC Universal and Disney, where she worked in Information Technology, Kellie has transitioned her focus to helping others, particularly seniors.
Passionate about protecting vulnerable populations, Kellie developed the Scam Busters program, a comprehensive campaign designed to educate and empower older adults with the knowledge needed to spot and avoid a variety of scams, including online, telephone, and door-to-door fraud. With scams targeting older adults on the rise, her work has become more critical than ever. In 2023, adults aged 60+ filed the majority of internet fraud complaints, with losses in that group reaching a staggering $3.4 billion.
