Claire Wylds-Wright is the mother of three adult children: Liberty (26), a police officer in London; Elliot (24), who works here in the gaming industry; and Mathilda (19), a college student who lives with narcolepsy.
Claire is the author of the award-winning memoir ‘Waking Mathilda: A Memoir of Childhood Narcolepsy’, which chronicles her family’s journey from the UK to the US in search of treatment after Mathilda developed Type 1 narcolepsy at the age of three---following the controversial H1N1 vaccine.
Her experience as a caregiver compelled her to become a passionate advocate for children with sleep disorders. Through her writing and global public speaking across multimedia platforms, she raises awareness and supports affected families.
Claire currently serves as CEO of the Hypersomnia Foundation and is co-founder and CXO of Sleep Consortium. She earned her MFA…
