Driven by the Rotary International vision that “together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves” and believing that the citizens of the small, tight knit community of Sierra Madre embodied these values, a group of business and civic leaders came together to form the Rotary Club of Sierra Madre on June 27, 1997.

Since its beginning, the members of the Rotary Club of Sierra Madre have sought to promote the spirit of the Rotary motto Service Above Self by partnering with residents, the City and other community groups to share ideas, promote goodwill and serve our community.
